The Trinity School Nottingham Logo

The Trinity Catholic School is a vibrant and diverse community of young people and staff. We are bound together by our common Gospel values.

We try to be a place where:

  • Christ's teachings drive how we work and play,
  • human dignity is respected,
  • everyone contributes and enjoys,
  • relationships are characterised by love, justice and forgiveness.

We pray four times a day, reminding ourselves that our work is 'Ad Dei Gloriam' - to the glory of God - and it is our faith that binds us together.

We worship together regularly and have good relationships with our local parishes and clergy, as we are all part of the 'Body of Christ'.

See below for examples of how our values shine through in the events, activities and trips that take place throughout each year.

Catholic Life News

Aside from our lessons, we have rich and varied opportunities for staff and pupils to get involved in the Catholic life of the school.

We join in with diocesan events and take trips to the Briars residential centre each year. We have in-school retreats in which we stop to ponder some of life's important questions. We take a group of older students to Lourdes to assist the sick and elderly in their pilgrimages.

We are also part of the Our Lady of Lourdes CMAT (Catholic Multi Academy Trust) and both support and receive support from our fellow Catholic schools.

Our charitable work is at the core of what we stand for.

We recognise the dignity and value of those who are less fortunate than us and who need our help. We support local, national and international good causes.

A range of charitable events takes place over the year and our pupils work tirelessly and generously to give of their time, effort and money. We are living out one of Jesus' most famous and important teachings, to 'Love your neighbour as you love yourself'.
