National Flag Competition

A Trinity Year 8 pupil has won the top prize in a national competition to design a flag.

The British Council EAL Nexus team ran a competition for pupils across the UK to design an 'identity flag' - a flag that represented their personality and/or nationality and the country they live in. The top prize was a tablet computer!

House Competition

The national competition formed the basis of our Trinity House Languages competition in May.

After receiving over 200 entries, It was almost impossible to select a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each house. These winning flags and close runners up were sent to the British Council to enter the national competition.

National Success

We are now very pleased to announce that one of our Year 8 pupils won the top prize and chose to have a silver ipad Mini 2 which she was presented with in Lower School assembly.

Well done to all pupils who entered the competition, we really enjoyed looking at all the entries. See more information about the competition and a picture of the winning flag on the British Council website.
