Year 7 Trip to Normandy
In July, a team of five staff took 40 Year 7 pupils to France for an activity weekend.
The weather was wonderful and we all had a good time. We visited an organic farm, a snail farm, and the amazing Mont St Michel.
Pupils had several opportunities to practise their French at Fougères market where they had to buy the ingredients for their own lunch. We also visited a crêperie and pupils had to make their order in French.
We stayed at PGL Château du Tertre where there are good free time amenities and lots of tasty food.
Mrs Rogers would like to thank the pupils for their excellent behaviour and positive attitudes to speaking and listening to French – they were a credit to the school.
