Pre-Concert Performance at the Royal Concert Hall
Two Trinity Sixth Form musicians performed at The Royal Concert Hall on Friday 23rd February in the Pre-Concert Performance as preparation for the Hallé Orchestra concert that evening.
They took turns to play on the grand piano in the bar on level four of the Concert Hall, to a packed-out audience. The performance included pieces from Beethoven, Mozart, Einaudi, Debussy, Justin Hurwitz, Matt Bellamy and Chopin.
A Wonderful Opportunity
Neil Bennison, the Programme Manager of the Royal Concert Hall, asked the pupils to perform on this prestigious platform; he had seen them play at the Trinity House Piano Competition. It was a wonderful opportunity and the students were fantastic ambassadors for the school.
