Year 9 Trip to The University of Nottingham
On 16th May, 16 Year 9 pupils visited the University of Nottingham’s Law and Social Sciences Department.
The pupils attended three different lectures, about art murals, populism in politics and questioning. The pupils also had a tour of the University campus by some current students, and visited the library, halls of residence, social hub and the grounds.
This visit was in conjunction with the University of Nottingham’s Widening Participation project. It adds to the aspirational work we deliver to pupils to try to get them thinking about the future and what choices they have.
The pupils were a credit to Trinity. The lecturers and organisers commented on their superb behaviour and their excellent questions and answers.
