On Tuesday 1st October, Trinity played host to a large number of Year 6 pupils and their families who were invited to come to see our school.
The Big Push
Om Friday 5th July, a group of fifty Year 7 volunteers experienced a day as First World War Tommies.
Born for This
During the season of Lent, a group of twenty pupils helped perform a presentation of the Stations of the Cross.
Film Music Concert
On 16th March, a group of Sixth Form Music students went to a film and computer game concert at the Royal Concert Hall.
Russian Music Gala
On 8th March, one of our Sixth Form students performed Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Nottingham Youth Orchestra.
Ron Seal's Adventures
The Year 7 mascot, Ron Seal, has been going to lessons and having some great extra-curricular adventures.
The Spring Concert was held on 19th March in the Sports Hall and included many of our ensembles, large and small.
Music Bursary Award
The European String Teacher Association awarded a Trinity Year 8 pupil a music bursary in London on March 6th.
Trinity's whole school show, Oliver!, was performed by a large cast over three nights in February.
Young Promoters Event
Thirteen Trinity musicians helped prepare for a Teen Hangout event at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham.
On Thursday 6th December, Trinity held its Presentation Evening to celebrate the achievements of the previous year.
Young Promoters Meeting
On Wednesday 12th December, our Young Promoters met with representatives from the London-based National Youth Orchestra.
On November 15th, The Kingsbury Hall was the venue for our second lunchtime concert of the school year.
Music Careers Presentation
NUSIC and Nottingham Music Hub spoke to our Year 9 pupils about careers and opportunities in Music.
Music Mark Award
Trinity School has been awarded Music Mark status in recognition of the value that it places on Music.
On November 8th, over 150 pupils from local primary schools joined Trinity musicians for our annual Joint Schools Music Festival.
Sixth Form Open Evening
On the evening of Wednesday 17th October, The Trinity Sixth Form opened its doors to prospective Year 12 students.

On Tuesday 2nd October, Trinity welcomed Year 6 pupils and their families to its annual open evening.
NYO - Play the School
National Youth Orchestra musicians visited Trinity for their Play the School event on Monday 17 September.
A project called Urban Gongs visited Trinity on the 16th and 23rd of July to work with pupils in Years 8 and 10.
On Tuesday 10th July, the Trinity Music Department held their Summer Concert in the Sports Hall.
Trinity's Got Talent
The final of Trinity's Got Talent 2018 took place on Thursday 12th July in the Kingsbury Hall.
Y6 Music Transition Day
Trinity recently hosted its Year 6 music transition day for pupils joining us in September.
Y9 Concert for Y7
Around 180 musicians from Year 9 performed for all Year 7 pupils on Wednesday 27th June in the Sports Hall.
Beechdale Manor Performance
On Thursday 21st June, the A-Level Music group performed to the residents at Beechdale Manor Nursing Home.
Film Music Roadmap
Some of our A-Level Music students attended a lecture on Film Music at the Royal Concert Hall on Monday 18th June.
Klezmer Group Performance
On Saturday 16th June, Klezmer Group performed at The Royal Concert Hall in their final After Hours concert of the season.
Young Creative Awards
On May 23rd, three Trinity entries received awards at the Young Creative Awards at Nottingham Playhouse.
GCSE Music Award
The Incorporated Society of Musicians has awarded Trinity a Silver Certificate to acknowledge our excellent GCSE results.
On Thursday 26th April, our A-Level Music students performed in a recital evening in the Kingsbury Hall.
Two Trinity Y13 musicians performed at the Nottingham City Homes Residents' Awards dinner on Thursday 22nd March.
Trinity Goes to the Opera
A group of Trinity A-Level musicians saw Mozart's opera Don Giovanni at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham.
On Friday 9th March, some of Trinity’s flautists took to the stage in the Drama Studio to showcase their playing.
RCH Piano Performances
Two Trinity Sixth Form musicians played piano at The Royal Concert Hall on Friday 23rd February in the Pre-Concert Performance.
Baroque Music Workshop
In February, Jonathan James visited Trinity to deliver a workshop on Baroque music to Trinity's Sixth Form Music students.
BBC Film Klezmer Group
On the 8th of February, BBC cameras rolled into the Music Department to film a Klezmer Group rehearsal.
Sheku's Chart Success
Congratulations to ex-Trinity pupil Sheku Kanneh-Mason whose debut album Inspiration has charted in the UK Top 20.
The Music Department continued its programme of lunchtime concerts with 'Piano Perfection' on Friday 26th January.
NPO Family Concert
Trinity pupils attended the Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra's family concert on Saturday 27th January at The Royal Concert Hall.
House Piano Competition
Some of Trinity's finest pianists took part in the House Piano Competition on Thursday 25th January.
Classical Roadmap Lecture
A-Level Music students went to the Royal Concert Hall on January 15th to attend a lecture on the Great Concertos.
Rehearsal with Clare Bhabra
Clare Bhabra, the the leader of the Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra, visited Trinity to rehearse the Chamber Orchestra strings.
The Trinity Music Department held its Christmas Concert at St Teresa's Church on Tuesday 19th December.

Trinity Music students took part in an exciting day with the National Youth Orchestra at The Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham.
Trinity's Klezmer Group performed at an evening celebrating world music styles, hosted in Nottingham on 22nd December.

Lost in Music Rehearsals
Rehearsals for Trinity's latest whole school musical, Lost in Music, got under way in November.
