Spring Concert
The Spring Concert was held on 19th March in the Sports Hall and included many of our ensembles, large and small.
Lent Fast Day
On Friday 15th March, many pupils and staff gathered at lunchtime for the CAFOD Lent Fast Day liturgy.
Ash Wednesday
On Ash Wednesday we prayed together, received the ashes and, following Church teachings, didn't eat meat.
Literature Ambassador Induction
On Wednesday 6th March, Trinity's three UNESCO City of Literature Ambassadors attended an induction morning.

Trinity's whole school show, Oliver!, was performed by a large cast over three nights in February.
Y11 Briars Retreat
A group of Year 11 pupils went to the Briars residential centre in Crich, Derbyshire from 28th to 30th January.
Y11 Boys Handball Success
The Year 11 Boys Handball Team successfully retained the City Champions title on Monday 4th February.
Literature Ambassadors
Three Trinity pupils have been selected as Unesco City of Literature Ambassadors for the coming year.
Young Promoters Event
Thirteen Trinity musicians helped prepare for a Teen Hangout event at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham.
Biomedical Sciences Assembly
On Tuesday 22nd January, Colin Mudd of the Biomedical Sciences Institute spoke to Trinity students in the Sports Hall.
Presentation Evening
On Thursday 6th December, Trinity held its Presentation Evening to celebrate the achievements of the previous year.
Young Promoters Meeting
On Wednesday 12th December, our Young Promoters met with representatives from the London-based National Youth Orchestra.
Music Festival
On November 8th, over 150 pupils from local primary schools joined Trinity musicians for our annual Joint Schools Music Festival.
Kindertransport Workshop
On Thursday 24th October, Year 11 Drama pupils took part in a workshop based on the play Kindertransport.
The Party Somewhere Else
In October, groups from Years 9 to 11 watched a performance by The Party Somewhere Else on the suffragette movement.
WW1 Centenary Poppies
To mark the centenary of the end of WW1, pupils of all ages have made poppy key fobs or bag tags in DT.
Year 11 Performances
On October 18th, Trinity Year 11 Drama pupils performed GCSE extracts at lunchtime and in the evening.

On the evening of Wednesday 17th October, The Trinity Sixth Form opened its doors to prospective Year 12 students.

On Thursday October 11th, Year 11 GCSE Drama pupils watched a performance of Kindertransport at the Nottingham Playhouse.

On Tuesday 2nd October, Trinity welcomed Year 6 pupils and their families to its annual open evening.

German Visitors
At the end of September, our German partner school sent pupils and staff to Nottingham for a four day stay.

On Thursday 27th September, three teams of DofE pupils set off on the three day expedition for their assessment.
NYO - Play the School
National Youth Orchestra musicians visited Trinity for their Play the School event on Monday 17 September.
Contemporary Dance Workshop
On Friday 21st September, Year 10 and 11 GCSE Dance pupils took part in a contemporary dance workshop.
Wembley Trip
On Saturday 8th September, 44 pupils visited Wembley Stadium to watch England versus Spain in the first of the UEFA League fixtures.

Year 11 Prom
On June 27th, Year 11 and 36 members of staff gathered at The Nottingham Belfry to celebrate at their Prom.
Three Peaks Challenge
On a hot day at the beginning of July, twenty Trinity Year 11 pupils tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
Klezmer Group Performance
On Saturday 16th June, Klezmer Group performed at The Royal Concert Hall in their final After Hours concert of the season.
County Cup Winners
Trinity's U16 Boys football team beat Southwell Minster School to win the County Cup on June the 5th.
GCSE Music Award
The Incorporated Society of Musicians has awarded Trinity a Silver Certificate to acknowledge our excellent GCSE results.
Easter Egg Raffle
Trinity's annual Easter Egg Raffle took place in March, with all proceeds goings towards the pilgrimage to Lourdes.
Goodbye Y11 Drama Students
In April, the Trinity Drama Department said goodbye to its Year 11 students who have been in the department for five years
Year 11 Drama Evening
The Drama Department hosted a Y11 performance evening in preparation for the pupils' GCSE Performance Exam.
Fabulous Flutes
On Friday 9th March, some of Trinity’s flautists took to the stage in the Drama Studio to showcase their playing.
Ski Trip to Artesina
Over February half term, 42 Trinity students from Years 8 to 13 went to Artesina in Italy on the school's annual ski trip.
WE Day
In March, a group of Trinity pupils went to WE Day, at Wembley, to listen to a number of inspirational speakers.
BBC Film Klezmer Group
On the 8th of February, BBC cameras rolled into the Music Department to film a Klezmer Group rehearsal.
Soccercise Session
On Tuesday 30th January, a group of students from Years 10 and 11 delivered the first 'soccercise' session for Year 7.
Piano Perfection
The Music Department continued its programme of lunchtime concerts with 'Piano Perfection' on Friday 26th January.
NPO Family Concert
Trinity pupils attended the Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra's family concert on Saturday 27th January at The Royal Concert Hall.
House Piano Competition
Some of Trinity's finest pianists took part in the House Piano Competition on Thursday 25th January.
