Handball Club Dragons' Den Pitch

On Tuesday 5th February, Trinity School hosted a ‘Dragons Den’ evening in association with the Nottingham YMCA.

Trinity were represented by four Year 8 pupils on behalf of the new Handball Club which was set up in September as a result of the increase in popularity of the sport following the London Olympics.

The pupils were successful in their bid and were rewarded with funding of £390 to go towards new Handball resources and a Handball coaching course for regular members of the club.

Active Aspley

The event was part of the local ‘Active Aspley Project’ which aims to help to establish, support and sustain local sports clubs and schools sports clubs in the area. The evening consisted of five different presentations from various schools inclucding Bluecoat Academy, Ellis Gilford and Trinity.
